Responsibilities

  • Design and deliver scalable iOS build and release tooling, including Azure DevOps pipelines, build caching, release automation, shared scripts, reusable tasks, variable groups, and consistent build configurations.
  • Improve CI/CD performance and efficiency by evaluating tooling, reducing build times, eliminating unused capacity, and measuring results.
  • Establish coding standards, architecture patterns, and engineering best practices across the iOS team.
  • Collaborate with product managers, DevOps engineers, backend engineers, and technical leads on tooling direction and mobile platform strategy.
  • Mentor and coach iOS engineers while fostering collaboration, growth, and technical excellence.
  • Monitor and optimize application performance, stability, and release processes.
  • Track iOS platform updates and introduce solutions that improve application quality and delivery.
  • Partner with leadership on product roadmaps and long-term mobile strategy.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a relevant combination of education, experience, and training.
  • At least 4 years of experience building and shipping iOS applications, including at least 2 years in a leadership or mentorship role.
  • Expert-level proficiency in Swift and SwiftUI and deep knowledge of MVVM and VIPER architecture patterns.
  • Ability to design scalable, modular codebases and lead major features from concept through release.
  • Strong knowledge of API integration, data persistence, state management, and performance tuning.
  • Experience with CI/CD pipelines, automated testing frameworks, and efficient release processes.
  • Experience with Xcode build settings, Swift Package Manager, toolchain management, and Azure DevOps pipeline design is advantageous.
  • Strong collaboration skills and experience influencing technical direction across teams.
  • Strategic, user-focused approach to balancing technical innovation with product impact.
