Responsibilities
- Develop and deploy AI agents and experiences that take actions for enterprise customers.
- Design agent intelligence including prompts, reasoning, tool calls, and integrations with customer systems.
- Own technical components from architecture through production deployment, validation, and observability.
- Build and integrate data pipelines using Salesforce Data 360, Snowflake, Databricks, and customer data platforms.
- Build agent performance dashboards and customer KPI reporting to track deployment health and business outcomes.
- Deliver proofs of concept and MVPs, co-build with customers and partners, and share technical enablement.
- Identify platform gaps and field insights and communicate them to engineering and product teams.
- Partner with Deployment Strategists to translate customer business challenges into deployable agentic solutions.
Requirements
- At least 3 years of software engineering or technical delivery experience and experience with at least one production system.
- A degree in Computer Science or a related field.
- Prior customer-facing technical delivery experience in consulting, professional services, or forward deployed engineering.
- Fluency in at least one of Python, JavaScript/TypeScript, Java, or Apex.
- Hands-on experience with LLMs and prompt engineering.
- Deep understanding of data modeling, APIs, and integration patterns.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with sales teams and customer architects.
- Ability to ship quality code and evaluate AI outputs with engineering rigor.
- Willingness to travel approximately 25% of the time.
- Preferred qualifications include Salesforce platform experience or certifications, familiarity with LangChain or LlamaIndex, cloud data platform experience, and experience in data engineering, platform architecture, or headless deployments.
