Responsibilities
- Design and implement enterprise-scale workflow and orchestration services.
- Develop reusable workflow components, connector frameworks, accelerators, SDKs, and platform services.
- Build workflow lifecycle management capabilities for deployment, versioning, monitoring, auditing, and governance.
- Support BPMN-based process automation, case management, business rules, and event-driven workflows.
- Design API-first and event-driven integrations with enterprise applications, messaging systems, cloud services, and external platforms.
- Build cloud-native microservices and distributed systems while contributing to DevOps, CI/CD, infrastructure-as-code, observability, and platform reliability practices.
- Participate in architecture reviews, code reviews, technical mentoring, and enterprise security, scalability, compliance, and operational excellence initiatives.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, engineering, information technology, or a related discipline.
- 7+ years of software engineering experience.
- 3+ years of workflow, orchestration, BPM, low-code, or automation platform experience.
- Hands-on experience with at least one listed open BPM/orchestration or low-code platform, such as Camunda, Flowable, Temporal, Pega, Appian, Microsoft Power Platform, ServiceNow Workflow Automation, or IBM Business Automation Workflow.
- Knowledge of BPMN 2.0, DMN, case management, human task management, workflow orchestration, business rules, process governance, workflow versioning, event correlation, long-running transactions, and compensation patterns.
- Experience with at least one listed programming language, integration technology, messaging platform, cloud/container ecosystem, and data technology.
- Preferred experience includes Azure OpenAI or AWS Bedrock, LangChain, LangGraph, CrewAI, Semantic Kernel, Model Context Protocol, UiPath, Automation Anywhere, ABBYY, intelligent document processing, or OCR solutions.
- Preferred industry experience includes banking, financial services, capital markets, insurance, healthcare, public sector, or other regulated industries.
- Experience with Workflow-as-a-Service platforms, reusable workflow frameworks, connector ecosystems, multi-tenant SaaS, process mining, and governance or compliance frameworks is advantageous.
