Responsibilities
- Build and maintain backend services for Joybuy’s global affiliate partnerships platform.
- Ensure high performance, availability, concurrency, security, and scalability for systems serving merchants and publishers in the UK and Europe.
- Identify and mitigate technical risks, including monitorability, maintainability, grey release, and rollback capabilities.
- Research, adopt, and promote new technologies and methodologies.
- Identify integration opportunities between emerging technologies and global system architectures.
- Work onsite in London.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Mathematics, or a related technical field.
- At least 3 years of experience with Java programming and Spring Boot.
- Strong coding ability, commitment to clean and elegant code, and interest in open-source projects.
- Ability to independently identify and resolve complex technical challenges.
- Strong communication, analytical, problem-solving, collaboration, and learning skills.
- Effective communication skills in Chinese and English.
- Experience in large-scale ecommerce companies is preferred.
- Experience developing affiliate partnerships or marketing systems is preferred.
- Experience with UK and European business is preferred.
