Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain backend features for the user app and related APIs.
- Design, implement, and launch scalable systems, products, features, and services.
- Optimize new and existing algorithms to support efficient operations.
- Improve existing backend systems to support growth in users, drivers, and orders.
- Communicate updates and changes with the broader technology team.
- Thoroughly understand, test, and verify shipped code, including code developed with AI assistants.
Requirements
- At least 2 years of hands-on backend development experience, preferably with Java.
- University graduation in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
- Solid experience building backend microservices and APIs.
- Experience with MySQL.
- Exposure to AWS cloud services.
- Knowledge of Redis, Elasticsearch, Kafka, or RabbitMQ is advantageous.
- Ability to learn quickly, manage multiple tasks, work independently, and collaborate effectively.
- Good written and spoken English communication skills.
