Responsibilities
- Design and build secure, scalable, cloud-native full-stack applications on Microsoft Azure across UI, API, services, and data layers.
- Translate business requirements into technical designs and implementation plans with architects and senior consultants.
- Own feature delivery through estimation, implementation, testing, code reviews, deployment, and CI/CD support.
- Build RESTful APIs, integrate backend services and data platforms, and support production performance, reliability, logging, metrics, and tracing.
- Integrate AI capabilities and apply RAG, vector search, agent-based patterns, prompt engineering, and Responsible AI principles.
- Identify technical risks and dependencies, support escalations, and contribute to contingency plans and reusable frameworks.
- Collaborate with project leads, delivery managers, account teams, and customers to support adoption and business outcomes.
- Continuously improve engineering practices through automation, testing, cloud monitoring, DevSecOps, and knowledge sharing.
Requirements
- 4–10 years of professional software development experience.
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, or a related discipline, or equivalent practical experience.
- Hands-on experience with .NET, C#, .NET Web APIs, Node.js, JavaScript or TypeScript, and Angular or React.
- Experience developing across UI, API, service, integration, and data layers and building or consuming RESTful services.
- Working knowledge of relational and cloud databases including Azure SQL, Azure Cosmos DB, PostgreSQL, Azure SQL Managed Instance, or Azure Database for MySQL.
- Hands-on experience integrating AI capabilities into applications using AI services or APIs.
- Practical knowledge of Azure AI Foundry, Azure AI Search, RAG patterns, RAG pipelines, vector search, agent-based patterns, Semantic Kernel, LangChain, prompt engineering, and Python.
- Experience with Microsoft Azure hosting, configuration, deployment, Git, CI/CD, monitoring, logging, troubleshooting, authentication, and authorization.
- Preferred certifications include MCSD, MCAD, MCSE, AZ-204, AI-900, AI-102, or equivalent cloud and AI certifications.
- Preferred experience includes AI evaluation and tuning, microservices, serverless architectures, Azure Functions, containers, Kubernetes, blue/green or canary releases, observability, Java, AWS, or Google Cloud Platform.
- Strong communication, consulting, collaboration, adaptability, continuous-learning, and customer-engagement skills.
