Responsibilities
- Implement technology solutions throughout the software development lifecycle and translate requirements into technical designs and application code.
- Develop and maintain full-stack applications, including frontend, backend, UI layouts, and user experience components.
- Design and lead complex software solutions aligned with business goals, including Adobe Journey Optimizer customer journeys and personalization capabilities.
- Create unit tests, conduct code reviews, enforce coding standards, and remediate defects and system bottlenecks.
- Optimize application performance, scalability, quality, efficiency, and reliability.
- Provide technical on-call escalation, peer coaching, technical supervision, and mentoring to software engineers.
- Collaborate with design, development, and cross-functional teams to improve usability and deliver business outcomes.
- Support team initiatives involving GitHub, Copilot, and AWS migration.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent relevant work experience.
- 5–8 years of related experience across the software development lifecycle, full-stack development, frontend and backend development, and UI/UX engineering.
- At least one cloud certification, such as AWS Cloud Practitioner, Microsoft Azure Fundamentals, or Google Cloud Digital Leader.
- Proficiency in at least two, ideally three, programming languages and experience developing or maintaining at least three applications.
- Preferred experience includes 8+ years in a related field and Adobe Journey Optimizer journey design and orchestration.
- Experience with event-driven customer journeys, real-time personalization, REST API integrations, custom actions, JSON payloads, third-party integrations, Offer Decisioning, eligibility rules, personalization strategies, and Adobe Experience Platform Expression Language.
- Experience with email, SMS, push notification, and cross-channel campaign execution; Adobe Certified Expert—Adobe Journey Optimizer Developer is preferred.
- Knowledge of Java, JavaScript, Microsoft Azure Functions, Microsoft Azure SQL, React.js, Angular, Flutter SDK, AWS development, DevOps, and full-stack development.
