Base Salary
$285k - $350k/yr
Responsibilities
- Lead complex enterprise architecture initiatives across multiple teams, domains, and business areas.
- Define and communicate long-term architectural visions, technology blueprints, roadmaps, and three-year technology strategies.
- Lead modernization efforts and ensure architectural strategies and blueprints are executed as designed.
- Architect mission-critical systems for availability, disaster recovery, observability, performance, scalability, and incident prevention.
- Define reusable platform capabilities, integration patterns, APIs, event-driven architectures, and shared services.
- Provide technical leadership across portfolios, strategic programs, and functional domains.
- Guide technology governance, risk management, exception processes, compliance, and resolution of design disagreements.
- Advise senior business and technology leaders on trends, competitive differentiators, innovation opportunities, and business value.
- Build and lead a community of practice across architects and technical leaders.
- Mentor developing engineers and foster pragmatic, scalable, collaborative, and well-governed architecture.
- Create and deliver executive-level presentations, materials, and communications.
Requirements
- Proven experience leading complex, large-enterprise architectural initiatives across multiple teams, domains, or business areas.
- Experience performing solution architecture for highly complex programs involving multiple systems, emerging technologies, or substantial investment.
- Experience analyzing current and target-state capability gaps and developing domain-level technology strategies.
- Experience evaluating technical debt, modernization tradeoffs, investment sequencing, cost optimization, and business value realization.
- Strong understanding of technology governance, risk tolerances, exception processes, and compliance requirements.
- Expertise in cloud modernization, Java, .NET, SQL, NoSQL database technologies, AI-centric software development, and containerized application hosting platforms.
- Experience defining reusable platforms, integration patterns, APIs, event-driven architectures, and shared services.
- Ability to build strong business relationships and provide architectural guidance across a domain.
- Strong executive presence and experience communicating with executive-level leadership.
- Demonstrated ability to foster collaboration, knowledge sharing, continuous improvement, and innovation across distributed or matrixed teams.
- Ability to respectfully challenge decisions and commit fully once decisions are made.
