Base Salary
$167k - $274k/yr
Responsibilities
- Analyze software requirements and transform them into scalable technical designs.
- Develop, test, troubleshoot, and deliver high-quality software solutions to production.
- Design and develop high-performance, low-latency distributed systems and data stores.
- Conduct critical systems cutovers with minimal downtime and migrate on-premises systems to cloud providers.
- Collaborate with technical leads, product managers, engineers, cross-functional teams, and business leadership.
- Support infrastructure and framework teams and build a hybrid Java/Golang stack.
- Mentor junior engineers through discussions, code reviews, design reviews, technical presentations, and testing.
Requirements
- Master’s degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a closely related field plus four years of relevant experience, or a bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent plus six years of relevant experience.
- At least three years of experience with at least three backend languages among Java, Golang, Python, and C++.
- At least three years of experience with Aerospike or Redis and AWS or GCP.
- At least two years of experience with NodeJS, React, or Angular; MySQL, PostgreSQL, Oracle, and MongoDB; and Datadog and Splunk.
- At least two years of experience with high-scale cutovers, Juno DB, and Kubernetes.
- At least three years of experience deploying distributed systems with redundancy and high availability, FinTech infrastructure deployments and operations, and Kraken or Spring Boot.
- Experience developing high-performance, low-latency distributed data stores and architecture for large-scale distributed systems.
