Software Engineer
Thought MachineResponsibilities
- Design, implement, and develop scalable, performant microservices.
- Write automated unit and integration tests as part of the development cycle.
- Collaborate with other engineering teams to add features in a structured and coherent way.
- Manage and debug deployments from testing environments through production.
- Translate customer requirements into trackable tickets.
- Participate in client-facing projects, including scoping and defining deliverables.
Requirements
- Experience with either Python or Golang.
- Experience developing automated tests as an integral part of the development cycle.
- Interest in working on client-facing projects, conducting scoping, and defining deliverables.
- Knowledge of banking or finance is desirable.
- Experience with AWS or other cloud providers is desirable.
- Familiarity with SQL or NoSQL databases is desirable.
- Experience with client/server software architectures and networking, or microservice architectures, is desirable.
- Experience using orchestration tools such as Kubernetes or Mesos is desirable.
