Responsibilities
- Analyze software requirements, architectures, system interdependencies, and application stacks to design automation solutions.
- Build, improve, and maintain reusable automation frameworks and libraries across technology stacks and business lines.
- Create test plans, test cases, scenarios, and usage cases for functional, regression, performance, and non-functional testing.
- Design, implement, execute, and maintain automated testing and software validation tools.
- Track functional and non-functional coverage metrics, defects, resolutions, bug fixes, and mitigation techniques.
- Collaborate with development and Agile delivery teams on product backlogs, acceptance criteria, automation backlogs, and continuous deployment practices.
- Work with business subject matter experts, testers, support personnel, users, developers, and clients to resolve system problems.
- Document automation processes, test cases, debugging data, projects, and performance reviews according to Wipro guidelines.
- Perform backend and database programming for key projects and incorporate applicable industry standards.
Requirements
- Mandatory experience in test automation.
- 5–8 years of professional experience.
- Experience designing and executing automated tests for functional, regression, performance, and non-functional requirements.
- Ability to develop technical specifications, resolve complex design issues, and create reusable automation frameworks and libraries.
- Ability to perform backend and database programming for key projects.
- Ability to collaborate with development, delivery, business, testing, support, and client stakeholders.
- Ability to produce clear technical documentation and track quality, deployment, defect, and performance metrics.
