Responsibilities
- Analyze software requirements, technology architectures, system interdependencies, and application stacks.
- Design, develop, execute, and maintain automated tests for functional, regression, performance, and non-functional requirements.
- Improve automation frameworks, build reusable libraries, and research new automation architectures and solutions.
- Create test plans, test cases, scenarios, usage cases, acceptance criteria, and automation backlogs.
- Track test coverage, defects, resolutions, bug fixes, deployment risks, and mitigation measures.
- Collaborate with development and delivery teams on continuous deployment practices, tools, and processes.
- Work with business subject matter experts and clients to understand automation requirements and deploy solutions.
- Document automation processes, test cases, debugging data, performance reviews, and project outcomes.
- Provide technical support to testers and support personnel and perform backend or database programming for key projects.
Requirements
- Mandatory experience in test automation.
- 5–8 years of professional experience.
- Experience designing and implementing automated testing tools, validation processes, and reusable automation frameworks.
- Ability to develop technical specifications, resolve complex design issues, and implement functional and non-functional test coverage.
- Ability to collaborate with development teams, project management, business subject matter experts, users, testers, and clients.
- Ability to perform backend or database programming for key projects.
- Knowledge of software design patterns, coding standards, automation architectures, and industry standards.
