Responsibilities
- Perform functional, integration, exploratory, regression, API, database, mobile, and automated testing for transportation planning, execution, and supply chain solutions.
- Test API and microservices communications using Postman, REST Assured, or SoapUI.
- Create test plans, use cases, test suites, and end-to-end test cases while tracking execution and requirements traceability.
- Participate in design reviews and shift-left activities to identify risks and improve testability.
- Identify, document, prioritize, track, and resolve software defects in Jira, including root-cause analysis.
- Lead defect triage meetings and coordinate with engineering and product teams on fix schedules.
- Validate data flow across supply chain databases using SQL.
- Test enterprise Android and iOS applications using physical devices and cloud testing platforms.
- Write maintainable automated test scripts and provide data-driven software health and release-risk reports.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree.
- 3–5 years of experience in functional and automation testing.
- Expertise in test planning, use-case creation, end-to-end test management, execution tracking, and requirements traceability.
- Advanced Jira proficiency for bug tracking and defect reporting, including severity and priority assessment.
- Experience leading defect triage meetings and performing root-cause analysis.
- Strong hands-on experience with Git, SVN, or another version control tool.
- Experience testing enterprise mobile applications on Android and iOS using physical devices and cloud platforms such as pCloudy.
- Proficiency with Postman or SoapUI for functional API testing.
- Intermediate to advanced SQL skills for data validation.
- Excellent communication, collaboration, critical thinking, problem-solving, adaptability, and attention to detail.
