Responsibilities
- Design and architect enterprise cloud solutions across AWS and Azure.
- Define cloud platform standards, reference architectures, engineering practices, hosting models, and onboarding processes.
- Architect and manage Kubernetes platforms including EKS, AKS, ECS, and container services.
- Develop reusable Infrastructure as Code modules using Terraform and create self-service platform capabilities.
- Drive automation, monitoring, observability, incident response, operational runbooks, automated remediation, and high availability for production platforms.
- Design and implement CI/CD pipelines and cloud-native deployment processes using Azure DevOps and Git-based workflows.
- Architect observability solutions, dashboards, alerts, SLIs, SLOs, reliability metrics, and FinOps initiatives.
- Ensure cloud architectures meet enterprise security, networking, IAM, governance, resiliency, and compliance requirements.
- Partner with SRE and security teams and support cloud transformation, modernization, and multi-cloud initiatives.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field.
- At least 7 years of experience in cloud architecture, platform engineering, or DevOps engineering.
- Deep expertise in AWS and Azure services.
- Hands-on experience with Kubernetes, including EKS and AKS, containers, and cloud networking.
- Strong Infrastructure as Code experience using Terraform.
- Experience implementing observability platforms and operational monitoring solutions.
- Strong understanding of SRE, DevOps, CI/CD, and cloud operating models.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Preferred: AWS Solutions Architect Professional and/or Azure Architect certifications.
- Preferred: experience building enterprise AI/ML or cloud platforms, leading cloud transformation and modernization, and supporting multi-cloud enterprise environments.
- Preferred: knowledge of FinOps, platform engineering, and Site Reliability Engineering practices.
