Base Salary
$232k - $333k/yr
Responsibilities
- Partner with Product and Engineering teams to design and ship AI features while ensuring security is embedded early in the product lifecycle.
- Drive engineering excellence through code reviews and establishing best practices for AI feature development.
- Lead application-level security architecture roadmap reviews and define secure patterns for authentication and data protection.
- Evaluate new technologies for security risks and support secure vendor selection.
- Partner with AI/ML teams to assess and mitigate risks unique to AI model integration.
- Serve as a technical advisor to Product Managers and Engineering Leads on product security strategy.
Requirements
- 8+ years of experience in software engineering, with 4-5 years focused on AI/ML.
- 5+ years of experience with Ruby on Rails and modern web frameworks.
- Hands-on experience with SAST/DAST tooling and secure code review.
- Ability to influence engineering teams and drive secure design decisions.
- Experience implementing secure coding practices and conducting threat modeling.
