Responsibilities
- Lead discovery, demos, pilots, trainings, onboarding, and custom builds for private-credit customers.
- Build the private-credit demo library, workflow templates, and use-case playbook.
- Guide lenders through AI capabilities and build screening, underwriting, and credit committee workflows in their templates and formats.
- Support lender presentation and CIM review, QoE and data pack analysis, cash flow and leverage modeling, sizing and structuring, covenant and credit agreement review, credit memo drafting, and comps analysis.
- Continue supporting customers post-close through compliance certificate review, covenant tracking, amendment and waiver analysis, and quarterly portfolio reporting.
- Partner with Account Executives and customer teams throughout the customer lifecycle and relay feedback to Harvey’s product team.
Requirements
- 6+ years on the investment or underwriting team at a direct lender, private credit fund, BDC manager, or insurer private credit arm, including ownership of live deal work.
- Principal-side deal execution experience in screening, underwriting, diligence, modeling, structuring, and drafting credit committee materials.
- Strong command of lender presentations, CIMs, QoE and data packs, models, credit agreements, intercreditor agreements, and compliance certificates.
- Advanced Excel and financial modeling skills, comfort with prompting and agentic AI workflows, and an instinct for automating repeated manual processes.
- Executive presence and relationship-building skills across analysts, associates, partners, and credit committee members.
- Outstanding communication and presentation skills for live demos, workshops, and technical discussions of covenant packages and underwriting assumptions.
- Track record of partnering with senior stakeholders to drive results and a practical, solutions-oriented mindset.
- Python, SQL, internal-tool-building experience, customer-facing or commercial experience, and hands-on AI investment experience are pluses.
