Responsibilities
- Evaluate technical products and solution options with senior business and IT stakeholders.
- Define interim and target-state solutions aligned with strategic departmental architecture.
- Guide developers in implementing technical solutions using standard development patterns, continuous integration, and automated testing.
- Guide Product Owners and Engineers in implementing strategically aligned data solutions and data architecture.
- Advise teams on design patterns, best practices, guidelines, integration patterns, and data modelling.
- Participate in production support and production incident management as needed.
- Debug existing code, extend functionality, and fix issues.
Requirements
- Strong KYC and CDD process domain knowledge.
- Strong knowledge of application-level security and infrastructure design patterns.
- Excellent knowledge of application containerisation, front-end and back-end technology, and microservice architecture.
- Essential experience with ReactJS and Java server-side development.
- Ability to write and document APIs and strong database schema design knowledge.
- Essential experience with SQL and relational databases, preferably PostgreSQL.
- Knowledge of architecture documentation and tools such as Visual Paradigm and Bizz Design.
- Strong knowledge of Google Cloud or AWS Cloud and security architecture.
- Strong knowledge of integration patterns and data modelling concepts.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills and a flexible approach to delivery responsibilities.
- Exposure to machine learning, AI concepts, and network and infrastructure security.
