Base Salary

$149k - $224k/yr

Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, test, deploy, monitor, and maintain well-scoped features for the IDMC Data Integration platform.
  • Build reliable, high-performance Java backend services, RESTful APIs, data pipelines, and cloud integration workflows.
  • Write automated unit, integration, regression, and contract tests and contribute to code reviews and quality standards.
  • Participate in CI/CD, deployment, monitoring, incident response, and operational reliability practices.
  • Collaborate with senior engineers, LMTS, and Product Managers on requirements, architecture, and technical decisions.
  • Develop deeper expertise in areas such as data movement, service performance, or AI-assisted development.

Requirements

  • Require 2–4 years of full-time software development experience in a product or enterprise environment, preferably building cloud-native backend services.
  • Require deep hands-on experience with Java or a similar JVM language, object-oriented design, concurrent programming, and production-grade performance-critical code.
  • Require experience designing, building, and operating scalable RESTful APIs in a cloud environment, with knowledge of microservices, service discovery, and messaging or event-driven patterns.
  • Require familiarity with at least one major cloud platform: AWS, Azure, or GCP.
  • Require advanced SQL, RDBMS concepts, query optimization, and transaction management; NoSQL experience with Cassandra or MongoDB is preferred.
  • Require practical Docker experience, basic Kubernetes familiarity, and exposure to distributed processing technologies such as Apache Spark or Kafka.
  • Require experience implementing automated tests with frameworks such as JUnit or TestNG and familiarity with Git and modern CI/CD pipelines.
  • Prefer knowledge of generative AI and LLMs, AI-assisted development tools such as Claude Code or Cursor, data lake concepts, Iceberg or Delta Lake, data integration, data quality, metadata management, Salesforce products, or SaaS integrations.
  • Require strong analytical, problem-solving, written communication, and collaborative skills.
