Responsibilities
- Provide technical design, development, support, administration, and monitoring for global business application platforms.
- Analyze and resolve support issues while optimizing system performance, availability, and application security.
- Perform application installation, upgrades, patching, maintenance, disaster recovery activities, performance tuning, break-fix support, and change requests.
- Collaborate with technology peers and third-party support teams to deliver solutions within support service-level agreements.
- Provide technical guidance to junior team members and maintain detailed business application documentation.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant discipline such as Computer Science, Engineering, or MIS, or equivalent work experience.
- At least five years of experience in Information Technology.
- At least three years of experience with software installation, upgrades, performance tuning, support, and administration.
- Experience with applications running on Windows or UNIX operating systems.
- Experience with application and server monitoring tools including SCOM, Elastic, or AppDynamics.
- Experience working with third-party support teams and the ability to work independently.
- Preferred qualifications include experience with SAP-integrated applications, SFTP, API, EDI, RFC, SaaS solutions, UC4/Automic Automation or similar scheduling tools, and ServiceNow.
- Knowledge of security, databases, hardware, networks, cloud, and virtualization concepts is preferred.
