Responsibilities
- Own the design, implementation, and ongoing evolution of application and product security capabilities across multiple systems, applications, and product families.
- Serve as a technical authority influencing secure architecture and design decisions and aligning solutions with enterprise security standards and industry practices.
- Lead complex application security assessments, threat modeling, advanced code reviews, risk prioritization, and remediation strategies.
- Integrate security features, patches, platform enhancements, AI guardrails, and gateway security controls into existing products and applications.
- Design and implement AI runtime security controls for generative AI applications, LLMs, copilots, RAG solutions, and agentic AI systems.
- Detect and prevent prompt injection, sensitive data exposure, insecure model responses, malicious AI activity, and excessive agent access.
- Enforce inference hooks through Zscaler or Alice inline with AI gateways such as Kong and LiteLLM.
- Provide technical leadership and mentorship to application security and engineering peers and partner with product, engineering, AI, cloud, cybersecurity, and architecture stakeholders.
Requirements
- Minimum of five years of related work experience.
- Undergraduate degree or equivalent combination of training and experience.
- Graduate degree preferred.
- Experience with application security, secure architecture, threat modeling, advanced code review, risk-based remediation, and security controls across product lifecycles.
- Experience securing AI gateways, APIs, generative AI applications, LLMs, copilots, RAG solutions, and agentic AI systems.
