Responsibilities
- Monitor production systems and maintain application availability and performance in a 24x7 environment.
- Respond to incidents, provide advanced troubleshooting, resolve issues within SLAs, and perform root cause analysis.
- Support Java/.NET payment applications, MongoDB and SQL databases, deployments, performance optimization, and health checks.
- Manage Azure cloud integration, deployment, infrastructure issues, security measures, resource usage, and cost optimization.
- Develop automation scripts for incident resolution and system monitoring.
- Follow and improve ITIL Incident, Problem, and Change Management processes.
- Coordinate with development, QA, infrastructure teams, external vendors, and stakeholders during technical issues and high-severity incidents.
- Maintain incident, problem, change, resolution, and technical documentation records; generate service performance reports.
- Mentor junior support team members.
Requirements
- 5–7 years of production support experience focused on databases, Java/.NET applications, cloud technologies, and ITIL processes.
- Experience with MongoDB and SQL, including queries, stored procedures, and stored procedure debugging.
- Knowledge of Java or .NET for supporting production applications.
- Hands-on experience with a major cloud platform, preferably Azure, and cloud infrastructure management.
- Strong understanding and hands-on experience with ITIL Incident Management and Problem Management.
- Familiarity with monitoring tools, logging, and incident tracking systems.
- Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python or PowerShell is preferred.
- Cloud certifications and ITIL Foundation or higher certification are preferred.
- Strong problem-solving, analytical, communication, leadership, mentoring, and high-severity incident-management skills.
