Responsibilities
- Administer, upgrade, migrate, and maintain SAP Basis and SAP HANA platforms across production and non-production environments.
- Perform SAP HANA installations, revisions, system replication, high availability and disaster recovery implementation, scale-up and scale-out operations, and performance optimization.
- Execute SAP transformation initiatives using SUM, DMO, and ZDO while addressing security, resilience, and end-of-support requirements.
- Provide L2/L3 support for critical SAP systems, including incident, major incident, problem, change, release, root-cause analysis, and recovery activities.
- Support and optimize SAP workloads on AWS, including cloud resilience and optimization initiatives.
- Drive automation, infrastructure-as-code, platform standardization, monitoring, alerting, dashboards, reporting, and continuous improvement.
- Collaborate with functional, ABAP, security, infrastructure, cloud engineering, monitoring, vendor, and service-provider teams.
Requirements
- 8+ years of hands-on SAP Basis and SAP HANA experience in enterprise environments.
- Strong experience supporting SAP production environments and critical business workloads.
- Expertise in SAP Basis administration, SAP HANA administration, SAP upgrades and maintenance, high availability and disaster recovery, and scale-up and scale-out HANA environments.
- Linux administration experience with RHEL and SUSE.
- Experience supporting SAP workloads hosted on AWS.
- Exposure to migration and transformation projects.
- Understanding of incident, major incident, problem, and change management and operational support processes.
- Experience working with geographically distributed teams.
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Computer Science, or Information Technology.
