Responsibilities
- Drive end-to-end architectural innovation through foundational patterns, frameworks, and reference implementations.
- Define and implement application-level architecture for complex projects, components, and subsystems.
- Design and build enterprise-level software and distributed systems across multiple platforms.
- Develop responsive web applications, database schemas, stored procedures, and transactional SQL.
- Recommend development testing tools and methodologies and ensure QA readiness of software deliverables.
- Establish project life cycle plans, coordinate schedules and assignments, and manage project risks, goals, and budgets.
- Advise senior management on technical strategy and provide technology solutions for ongoing issues.
- Act as a liaison with business units and mentor junior team members.
- Create comprehensive documentation and perform complex technical and functional analysis across multiple initiatives.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, Information Systems, Information Systems Management, or a closely related field and five years of relevant experience, or a master’s degree in one of those fields and three years of relevant experience.
- Five years of experience must include designing and building enterprise-level software, web development, system analysis, technical design, and release and build management throughout the software development lifecycle; the master’s-degree alternative requires three years.
- Demonstrated expertise with Java, Spring, Spring Boot, microservices, Apache Kafka, Avi, HazelCache, and Executor Thread Pools for distributed systems and performance.
- Demonstrated expertise with JavaScript, TypeScript, AngularJS, Angular, HTML5, CSS, Jasmine, Karma, Node.js, OAuth, and SAML for responsive web applications and security.
- Demonstrated expertise with Jenkins, IBM uDeploy, Sonar, JProfiler, and VisualVM for DevOps, code scanning, and performance analysis.
- Demonstrated expertise designing Oracle database schemas, PL/SQL, stored procedures, transactional SQL, query explain plans, and execution plans.
