Responsibilities
- Operationalize GenAI and LLM applications using RAG, vector search, prompt engineering, agentic AI, and MCP.
- Design, develop, and deploy production-grade LLM and ML pipelines covering data transformation, feature engineering, training, tuning, and serving.
- Architect scalable data and AI workflows on Snowflake, Databricks, and Azure ML.
- Build and maintain secure, performant API-based AI services using FastAPI and Flask.
- Implement CI/CD pipelines for GenAI and ML services using GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps, MLflow, Kubernetes, and Docker.
- Establish MLOps and LLMOps practices for experiment tracking, model versioning, observability, and governance.
- Mentor ML engineers and data scientists and set technical direction for scalable, production-ready AI systems.
- Integrate AI services into products while addressing security, compliance, and resilience in regulated healthcare environments.
- Troubleshoot inference latency, model drift, and production performance issues.
- Document architecture patterns, operational standards, and AI development frameworks.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Machine Learning, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
- At least 8 years of experience in AI/ML engineering roles.
- Proven experience architecting and scaling production LLM, GenAI, and ML systems.
- Experience deploying LLM and GenAI solutions with RAG, vector databases, and agentic or tool-augmented systems such as LangChain or MCP.
- Experience using Snowflake or Databricks as core data processing or AI/ML platforms.
- Experience with MLOps/LLMOps, CI/CD automation, model serving, monitoring, and governance using tools such as Docker, Kubernetes, Azure ML, MLflow, and Terraform.
- Proficiency in Python and SQL and experience processing high-volume datasets with Spark or equivalent distributed systems.
- Ability to collaborate across engineering, product, compliance, and security teams in regulated industries.
- Strong communication, leadership, mentorship, and technical direction abilities.
- Experience with Python-based API frameworks such as FastAPI or Flask.
- Snowflake, Databricks, Azure ML, or AI/ML platform certifications are preferred.
- Healthcare AI and regulated AI deployment experience is preferred.
