Base Salary
$205k - $300k/yr
Responsibilities
- Architect the frontend foundation, including the component system, design tokens, patterns, and engineering conventions.
- Make foundational decisions about frameworks, state management, rendering strategy, and performance budgets.
- Build shared libraries and abstractions that improve engineering speed and quality.
- Establish scalable code standards, review practices, and documentation.
- Collaborate with Applied AI and Platform engineers on API contracts and integration patterns.
- Ship production-grade UI for enterprise customer deployments.
- Evolve the frontend architecture as the team, product, and customer base scale.
Requirements
- At least 5–6+ years of frontend engineering experience with a strong architectural track record.
- Deep expertise in ReactJS and TypeScript, including understanding of architectural tradeoffs.
- Proven experience building and maintaining shared component libraries or design systems used by other engineers.
- Strong knowledge of frontend architecture, state management, rendering patterns, performance, and accessibility.
- Experience making technology decisions that support long-term maintainability.
- Ability to work in ambiguous, fast-moving environments and communicate effectively with engineering, product, and design.
- Preferred experience with frontend architecture for AI-powered or data-intensive applications, high-craft design systems, technical documentation, performance optimization, accessibility standards, cross-platform rendering, enterprise deployments, or security constraints.
