Base Salary
$79k - $210k/yr
Responsibilities
- Build and operate Kilt platform capabilities used to deploy and run OCI services across every region.
- Design distributed control loops that collect metrics and logs, evaluate system health, escalate issues, and trigger scaling, recovery, or behavioral adjustments.
- Own software components from architecture and design through production operation.
- Develop systems that meet strict latency, correctness, availability, scalability, and flexibility requirements under partial information.
- Support mission-critical tier-one live-site operations and reason systematically about system failures.
Requirements
- BS or MS degree in Computer Science or a relevant technical field involving coding, or equivalent practical experience.
- At least 3 years of full-time professional software development experience.
- Ability to write high-quality code using Java, GoLang, or similar languages.
- Experience delivering products across the full software development lifecycle.
- Experience with large-scale, highly distributed services infrastructure.
- Experience working in an operational environment with mission-critical tier-one live-site servicing.
- Experience designing architectures that provide high availability, scalability, flexibility, and deep technical capability.
- Strong systematic problem-solving, communication, ownership, and execution skills.
