Responsibilities
- Participate in large Avaloq transformation, run-the-bank, and change-the-bank projects in private banking and wealth management.
- Support banking software implementation phases including analysis, implementation, testing, maintenance, and client support.
- Collaborate with global clients and local and international colleagues to implement and support solutions.
- Deliver Avaloq solutions across business areas such as stock exchange, payments, CRM, KYC, interfaces, and data migration.
- Design, customize, and test Avaloq solutions and analyze business requirements.
- Participate in rolling out an application integration model based on a containerized platform such as OpenShift.
- Use JIRA and Confluence for collaboration and project work.
Requirements
- University degree in IT or computer science, or an equivalent engineering qualification.
- At least 3 years of Avaloq experience, including ABR/S standard.
- Business expertise in at least one Avaloq area, including securities operations, client relationship management, object model, cash operations, payments, settlements and reconciliation, credit, portfolio management, accounting, costs and fees, Avaloq Front Platform, or interfaces and integration.
- Good knowledge of relational database concepts, including Oracle or SQL Server, and SQL.
- Good understanding of Avaloq tools and development processes.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively, stay organized, handle pressure, and meet tight deadlines.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with very good written and spoken English.
- German or French language skills are advantageous.
- Finance experience or knowledge of banking products and processes is advantageous.
- Avaloq Certified Customization Professional – Major in Core certification is advantageous.
- Exposure to Java, VBA, Angular, JavaScript, and test automation is advantageous.
