Responsibilities
- Build and manage user interfaces, server-side logic, databases, and APIs using Java, Spring Boot, React, and TypeScript.
- Develop clean, maintainable, and reusable code and lead development and support for complex applications and business lines.
- Support Azure cloud migration, application security remediation, accessibility compliance, release management, and disaster recovery activities.
- Design, review, integrate, document, and verify functional, security, integration, performance, quality, operations, and architecture requirements.
- Design and optimize RESTful APIs, database schemas, queries, migrations, and indexes.
- Write and maintain unit, integration, and end-to-end tests and participate in peer code reviews.
- Provide technical expertise during incidents, analyze logs and outages, identify root causes, assess impact, and coordinate communications through resolution.
- Research technology standards and innovations, recommend engineering solutions, identify risks, and implement process improvements.
- Coach and educate others, support knowledge transfer, and collaborate with teams and leadership to resolve product quality and delivery issues.
Requirements
- Working experience with HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and React.
- Proficiency with Node.js, Java, Spring Boot, Spring Framework, RESTful web services, asynchronous programming, JWT, and OAuth.
- Competency in optimized database queries, schema design, database migrations, and indexation.
- Ability to independently design and optimize RESTful APIs for payload efficiency and query latency.
- Experience with Git, npm, Postman, and SoapUI.
- Basic mastery of continuous integration workflows using GitHub Actions and knowledge of Azure Cloud.
- Ability to safely use AI assistants such as GitHub Copilot while debugging, auditing, and correcting generated code.
- Experience writing unit, integration, and end-to-end tests using Jest, Mocha, and JUnit.
- Ability to provide technical guidance, troubleshoot complex problems, communicate project status, and work collaboratively with technology partners.
- Ability to adhere to security coding practices, regulatory guidelines, development standards, and risk management processes.
