Base Salary

$168k - $227k/yr

Responsibilities

  • Build and ship features for Kiro, including model launches, intelligent routing, and project context capabilities.
  • Orchestrate workflows across dozens of models and develop context systems that improve agent interactions.
  • Design, build, and scale distributed systems, real-time streaming, multi-model orchestration, and AI infrastructure.
  • Own critical systems, define technical direction, and lead development of new capabilities.
  • Mentor engineers or lead an engineering team while contributing to team processes and operations.
  • Participate in coding, design reviews, source control, build processes, testing, and operations across the software development life cycle.

Requirements

  • At least 5 years of non-internship professional software development experience.
  • At least 5 years of programming experience with one or more software programming languages.
  • At least 5 years of experience leading the design or architecture of new and existing systems, including design patterns, reliability, and scaling.
  • Experience as a mentor, technical lead, or engineering team lead.
  • Preferred: at least 5 years of full software development life cycle experience, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations.
  • Preferred: bachelor’s degree in computer science or equivalent.
