Responsibilities
- Perform feature, scale, migration, performance, interoperability, and end-to-end customer solution testing.
- Analyze customer architectures, network topologies, and requirements to develop test strategies and coverage.
- Design, develop, and execute system-level and solution-level test plans and automated test cases.
- Build and maintain test labs representing customer deployments and configure Junos/EVO networking devices.
- Develop test automation using Python, Robot Framework, Perl, or similar technologies.
- Use Ixia and Spirent for network traffic generation, validation, performance, and scale testing.
- Analyze results, perform root cause analysis, identify product defects, and collaborate with development teams on resolution.
- Prepare test reports, technical documentation, customer presentations, and release certification artifacts.
- Participate in customer workshops and technical reviews and communicate testing risks, issues, and mitigation plans.
- Improve testing methodologies, automation frameworks, validation processes, and AI-powered testing efficiency.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Information Technology, or a related technical discipline, or equivalent practical experience.
- Minimum 10-15+ years of experience in Networking Systems Engineering, System Testing, Solution Validation, or related fields.
- Experience with Service Provider, Cloud, Core, or Edge networking environments and large-scale network deployments.
- Hands-on experience with system testing, solution validation, test automation, troubleshooting, and customer-specific deployments.
- Experience developing automation with Python and/or Robot Framework.
- Experience with Ixia and Spirent network traffic generation and testing platforms.
- Strong knowledge of TCP/IP, IPv4/IPv6, MPLS, BGP, OSPF, IS-IS, LDP, RSVP, L2VPN/L3VPN, VLAN, QoS, and related networking technologies.
- Customer-facing technical experience is preferred.
- Prior Juniper Junos/EVO experience is highly desirable.
- JNCIP, JNCIE, CCNP, or equivalent networking certifications are a plus.
- Ability to analyze network architectures, perform root cause analysis, collaborate cross-functionally, and communicate effectively with customers and stakeholders.
- Familiarity with AI-driven automation, AI agents, and AI-powered testing tools.
