Responsibilities
- Design and implement user-facing web applications using React.
- Build modular and reusable components and libraries.
- Maintain coding standards and write automated unit tests.
- Maintain the platform, including React/Next.js security updates and dependency issues.
- Propose upgrades and updates aligned with modern security and development practices.
- Develop complete features with attention to SEO, performance, and accessibility.
- Coordinate with backend developers, UX/UI designers, business stakeholders, and Asia-Pacific development partners.
Requirements
- Highly proficient in TypeScript and modern ES6+ syntax and features.
- Highly proficient with React, including components, state, hooks, contexts, and the virtual DOM.
- Highly proficient with Next.js, server-side rendering, and incremental static regeneration.
- Highly proficient in consuming GraphQL APIs with Apollo Client.
- Familiarity with Material UI, styled-components, frontend unit testing frameworks such as Jest, Git, and Vite.
- Good understanding of HTML5 and CSS3, plus knowledge of Tailwind CSS.
- Ability to write efficient, secure, well-documented, and clean JavaScript/TypeScript code.
- Comfort with CI/CD, feature flags, and automated testing.
- Practical expertise in HTTP, caching, and CDNs.
- Familiarity with Agile methodologies including Scrum and Kanban.
- Experience working across varied companies, teams, and diverse projects.
