Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and continuously optimize software solutions.
  • Develop and implement backend applications, modules, and interfaces.
  • Maintain and improve existing software components, analyze defects, resolve incidents, and implement sustainable solutions.
  • Create and maintain technical documentation.
  • Conduct code reviews and help ensure software quality.
  • Contribute to architecture decisions and technical concepts.
  • Plan and execute unit, integration, and system tests.
  • Collaborate with internal departments and external technology and sales partners on customer projects.
  • Contribute ideas for continuously improving development processes.

Requirements

  • Completed Fachinformatiker apprenticeship in application development, a degree in computer science, or a comparable qualification; alternatively, at least three years of professional software development experience.
  • Experience with at least one JVM-based programming language.
  • Experience working with container technologies.
  • Experience with unit testing and an understanding of its importance for software quality.
  • Ability to write clean, maintainable, and high-quality code.
  • Fluent written and spoken English.
  • Scrum and Kanban experience as part of daily work.
  • German at B1 level or comparable is preferred.
  • Initial experience with VoIP technologies is preferred.
  • Knowledge of distributed systems and microservices is preferred.
  • Experience with Kubernetes is preferred.
  • Initial programming experience with Kotlin is preferred.
