Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and continuously optimize software solutions.
- Develop and implement backend applications, modules, and interfaces.
- Maintain and improve existing software components, analyze defects, resolve incidents, and implement sustainable solutions.
- Create and maintain technical documentation.
- Conduct code reviews and help ensure software quality.
- Contribute to architecture decisions and technical concepts.
- Plan and execute unit, integration, and system tests.
- Collaborate with internal departments and external technology and sales partners on customer projects.
- Contribute ideas for continuously improving development processes.
Requirements
- Completed Fachinformatiker apprenticeship in application development, a degree in computer science, or a comparable qualification; alternatively, at least three years of professional software development experience.
- Experience with at least one JVM-based programming language.
- Experience working with container technologies.
- Experience with unit testing and an understanding of its importance for software quality.
- Ability to write clean, maintainable, and high-quality code.
- Fluent written and spoken English.
- Scrum and Kanban experience as part of daily work.
- German at B1 level or comparable is preferred.
- Initial experience with VoIP technologies is preferred.
- Knowledge of distributed systems and microservices is preferred.
- Experience with Kubernetes is preferred.
- Initial programming experience with Kotlin is preferred.
