Responsibilities
- Lead the evolution from AI-curious to AI-native engineering practices.
- Convert skeptics into advocates through data-driven demonstrations.
- Establish KPIs and track progress towards 100% AI adoption.
- Create forums for knowledge sharing and peer-to-peer learning.
- Continuously assess and recommend emerging AI tools.
- Design frameworks for integrating AI tools into development workflows.
- Lead proof-of-concepts for coding agents in standardized tasks.
- Ensure AI tool usage meets security and compliance requirements.
- Establish best practices for AI-assisted development.
- Analyze and optimize AI tool performance and cost-efficiency.
- Develop and execute a three-phase AI adoption roadmap.
- Oversee a $1M+ annual tool budget and demonstrate ROI.
- Build relationships with key stakeholders across the organization.
- Negotiate enterprise contracts and manage vendor relationships.
- Design adoption playbooks for diverse teams.
- Identify and eliminate barriers to AI adoption.
- Communicate adoption metrics and success stories to leadership.
Requirements
- 10+ years of software engineering experience with expertise in multiple programming languages.
- Deep hands-on experience with AI-powered development tools.
- Strong understanding of LLMs and AI model capabilities.
- Experience with CI/CD and modern software development workflows.
- Proven ability to drive technical initiatives across large organizations.
- Experience leading without authority and influencing senior leaders.
- Track record of successful change management in engineering.
- Experience presenting to C-level executives.
- Experience driving tool adoption across diverse technical teams.
- Strong communication skills for creating compelling narratives.
