Responsibilities
- Build technical solutions that address complex business problems in financial markets technology.
- Participate in the full software development lifecycle across OTC derivatives, margin and collateral, payments, and cash management domains.
- Develop robust, high-quality applications, RESTful APIs, event-driven systems, microservices, and micro-frontend user interfaces.
- Collaborate closely with product teams, business users, and support teams.
- Help build a strong engineering culture across global teams.
- Manage multiple priorities while working independently in a fast-paced and rapidly changing environment.
Requirements
- 12+ years of hands-on professional software development experience.
- Proficiency in Java, Python, JavaScript, or React.
- Experience building RESTful APIs with frameworks such as Spring.
- Experience with event-driven systems, microservices, and micro-frontend user interfaces.
- Experience following TDD and clean code principles.
- Proficiency with data structures, algorithms, and SQL.
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science or an engineering field involving software programming or systems engineering.
- Preferred: experience with AWS, Kafka, Kubernetes, S3, DynamoDB, MongoDB, or other NoSQL databases.
- Preferred: experience working in investment banking or the financial services industry.
