Responsibilities
- Develop and review high-quality, maintainable application code.
- Collaborate with requirements engineers, QA specialists, application engineers, and other cross-functional team members.
- Contribute to architecture decisions and technical documentation guiding the team’s technical direction.
- Integrate messaging systems, shared platforms, BPMN workflows, logging frameworks, and telemetry solutions.
- Stay current with emerging technologies and Generative AI developments to improve solutions.
Requirements
- Four years of software development experience across the full software delivery lifecycle.
- Strong expertise in Java, Spring Boot, and Angular.
- Previous public cloud experience, particularly with Microsoft Azure.
- Experience with modern software architecture and synchronous and asynchronous integration technologies, including RabbitMQ, Azure Service Bus, or Kafka.
- Experience with Maven, Git, and CI/CD pipelines.
- Proficiency with relational and/or document-based databases, including conceptual domain model design and physical implementation.
- Comfort working primarily in an IDE with large and established codebases.
- Excellent English communication and presentation skills.
- Understanding of insurance or reinsurance business is a plus.
