Base Salary

Responsibilities
- Design and implement software for flight-deck user interfaces and automated or autonomous control systems.
- Develop AI/ML algorithms for perception, decision-making, and predictive analytics.
- Integrate computer vision and sensor-fusion pipelines for situational awareness.
- Architect backend systems for CI/CD workflows, data pipelines, and ML model training.
- Collaborate with avionics, systems engineering, and IT teams on robust software integration.
- Support simulation, integration, and flight-test activities.
- Participate in design reviews, trade studies, and technical planning for advanced software architectures.
- Write, test, document, and review production-quality code.
Requirements
- Require 4–7 years of industry experience in software development for complex systems.
- Require a bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
- Master's degree is preferred, and a doctorate in Computer Science, Aerospace, or a related field is also preferred.
- Require experience with AI/ML frameworks such as TensorFlow or PyTorch.
- Require experience with real-time systems and robotics middleware such as ROS and DDS.
- Require proficiency in Python and C++ for high-performance applications.
- Require hands-on experience with Linux and open-source development tools.
- Require knowledge of software design patterns, modular architectures, API development, computer vision, and sensor fusion.
- Prefer experience with aviation-certified software such as DO-178C or other safety-critical systems.
- Prefer experience with OpenCV, CUDA, GPU optimization, cloud-based ML workflows, data pipelines, Jenkins, GitLab CI, Docker, and Kubernetes.
- Prefer knowledge of state machines, behavior trees, task planning, multi-agent collaboration, and human-machine interfaces.
- Aviation, robotics, automotive, industrial automation, startup, rapid-development, pilot-license, or flight experience is preferred or advantageous.
