Responsibilities
- Develop, test, and maintain backend software applications.
- Build scalable and reliable products for streaming video and content to millions of users.
- Contribute across the full development lifecycle, including analysis, implementation, testing, and operation.
- Develop APIs using self-hosted or application-server-based approaches.
- Apply practices that improve performance, availability, reliability, security, and software quality.
- Collaborate with developers, product managers, stakeholders, and cross-functional feature teams.
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineering team members.
- Investigate and introduce technologies that benefit customers and improve the team.
- Share knowledge and contribute to continuous improvement.
Requirements
- Experience developing in languages such as Java, Kotlin, NodeJS, or Go.
- Experience with API development.
- Knowledge of containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes.
- Knowledge of relational and NoSQL databases.
- Knowledge of continuous integration and deployment tools and processes.
- Knowledge of automated testing tools such as Cucumber, Gatling, or JMeter.
- Ability to innovate, investigate new technologies, and work effectively in a team.
- Self-driven approach, eagerness to learn, creative thinking, analytical skills, and attention to detail.
- Fluency in English.
