Responsibilities
- Design, code, enhance, troubleshoot, and maintain custom software solutions and business applications on IBM System i.
- Serve as a subject matter expert and collaborate with multiple teams on technical decisions.
- Manage team execution, make team decisions, and provide solutions for immediate and cross-functional teams.
- Identify and implement process improvements that enhance team productivity and software quality.
- Mentor junior team members and support their professional development.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of experience with IBM System i (AS/400) RPG IV.
- Proficiency in IBM System i (AS/400) RPG IV and experience designing and coding complex business applications on the platform.
- Knowledge of software development life cycle practices and agile methodologies.
- Ability to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues in custom software environments.
- Familiarity with database management and integration techniques related to IBM System i systems.
- 15 years of full-time education.
