Base Salary

Responsibilities
- Design, develop, test, and deploy scalable, secure, highly interactive web applications.
- Own core platform modules from concept through release and production support.
- Influence application and system architecture with emphasis on performance, reliability, security, and maintainability.
- Lead by example through clean, well-tested code, design reviews, and pragmatic technical decisions.
- Integrate LLMs and AI services into .NET- and Python-based systems, including AI-assisted workflows, copilots, and agentic automation.
- Apply prompt engineering, evaluation techniques, and guardrails to support reliable and compliant AI capabilities.
- Collaborate with Product Management, QA, data teams, platform teams, and engineers throughout the software development lifecycle.
- Mentor engineers and provide technical guidance.
- Diagnose and resolve complex production issues across distributed systems.
- Create technical documentation such as design specifications, acceptance criteria, and release notes.
- Ensure solutions meet company quality standards and applicable industry regulations.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent practical experience.
- 10+ years of software design and development experience using the Microsoft technology stack preferred.
- Expert-level proficiency in C#, .NET, and ASP.NET, including MVC and Web APIs.
- Strong experience building full-stack web applications with Angular, TypeScript, HTML, and CSS.
- Strong understanding of software design principles, patterns, and best practices.
- Experience across the full software development lifecycle; Agile experience preferred.
- Hands-on experience integrating LLM-based services such as OpenAI or Azure OpenAI into applications.
- Experience using Python and/or .NET with AI and LLM workflows.
- Familiarity with agent-based or workflow-driven AI architectures is preferred.
- Understanding of secure and responsible AI usage in enterprise systems.
- Strong SQL expertise, preferably Microsoft SQL Server, including performance tuning, is preferred.
- Experience with microservices, distributed systems, and cloud platforms such as AWS is preferred.
- Secure development experience, including awareness of common vulnerabilities and mitigations, is preferred.
- Experience with clinical trial data, life sciences, regulated SaaS environments, data visualizations, or analytics-driven user experiences is preferred.
- Strong independent-working, collaboration, communication, documentation, and technical leadership skills.
