Base Salary
$255k - $405k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design and implement infrastructure and end-to-end features for the Codex desktop client
- Partner with product and design to build web-browsing features for macOS and Windows
- Develop primarily in the backend C++ layer and Chromium, with some TypeScript across full-stack features
- Design and implement APIs, mostly in C++, and build supporting deployment infrastructure in Python and TypeScript
- Collaborate with the Codex team to deliver a high-performance, stable, and secure application platform
Requirements
- Significant experience building technically complex features end-to-end
- Strong C++ development skills, particularly in browser environments such as Chromium and Electron
- General web development and TypeScript knowledge is helpful but not required
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, ambiguous environment and communicate clearly across organizational roles
- Self-directed approach with the ability to identify important work and execute it end-to-end
