Senior Backend Engineer responsible for rearchitecting Close’s core CRM data model, improving high-volume search and retrieval, and building AI-native CRM capabilities. This is a fully remote role focused on complex migrations, scalable backend systems, and agent-accessible CRM tools.

Build the backend platform and AI development tooling that helps Close engineers ship faster and more safely. As an early member of a new team, you’ll shape shared APIs, observability, developer environments, coding-agent guardrails, and backend infrastructure patterns.

Build polished, high-impact CRM experiences as a Senior Frontend Software Engineer working primarily with React and TypeScript. You’ll shape user-facing features spanning real-time collaboration, analytics, communications, GraphQL, and AI in a fully remote, product-focused team.

Build and scale high-volume backend systems for Close’s modern, communication-focused CRM while working fully remotely with a collaborative cross-functional team.
