Responsibilities

Develop and maintain modern backend applications using current Java technologies.
Design and implement scalable, performant, and maintainable software architectures.
Ensure code quality through code reviews, testing, and engineering best practices.
Collaborate with Product Owners, business departments, and technical stakeholders.
Improve existing systems for performance, stability, security, and long-term scalability.
Support deployment processes and the evolution of the existing system landscape.

Several years of practical software development experience with Java.
Very strong knowledge of Java frameworks and technologies such as Spring, Hibernate, and REST.
Experience developing complex backend systems and distributed applications.
Knowledge of modern web technologies, APIs, and services.
Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, GCP, or comparable environments.
Practical experience with container technologies including Docker and Kubernetes.
Knowledge of PKI, encryption, or electronic signatures is desirable.
Structured, analytical, and solution-oriented working style.
Very good German and good English language skills.
