Base Salary

$144k - $209k/yr

Responsibilities

  • Build and maintain developer tools for application observability and reliability improvements.
  • Engineer resilient, observable networking infrastructure across multiple regions.
  • Collaborate on production operations, deployments, configuration, routing, monitoring, and scalability.
  • Use automation and software engineering practices to solve high-load and workflow challenges.
  • Improve system architecture through diagnosis and evidence-based recommendations.
  • Mentor teammates and participate in an on-call schedule.

Requirements

  • Experience building business-critical software in a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience solving complex technical challenges and designing custom solutions.
  • Experience with Kubernetes, containers, and serverless compute platforms.
  • Experience with continuous integration, delivery, testing, and code deployment.
  • Experience using observability tools for performance improvements and growth forecasting.
  • Experience improving system architecture and implementing evidence-based recommendations.
  • Experience with the listed platform technologies is helpful but not required, as tools can be learned.
