Base Salary
$167k - $204k/yr
Responsibilities
- Build new data pipelines and tooling for Redfin’s data ingestion platform.
- Develop large-scale applications backed by relational and non-relational databases.
- Work with spatial and shape data and integrate latitude/longitude data within shape files.
- Create tooling to monitor, maintain, and update essential inventory data.
- Design, architect, and implement solutions for difficult challenges faced by partner teams.
- Provide technical leadership, mentoring, and development support to other engineers.
- Participate in an on-call rotation for production systems and service reliability, including possible nights and weekends.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience developing full-stack data ingestion platforms.
- Experience developing large-scale applications backed by relational and non-relational databases.
- Experience with Kafka, Java, Python, Postgres, SQL, Kubernetes, Jenkins, Airflow, and AWS.
- Experience building tooling to monitor, maintain, and update essential data.
- Ability to provide technical leadership and architect solutions for complex challenges.
- Leadership and mentoring skills, including the ability to improve other developers.
