Base Salary
$150k - $210k/yr
Responsibilities
- Lead the design, development, and delivery of scalable enterprise financial modeling, reporting, and analytics solutions.
- Architect and implement software systems using Java, Scala, Python, Angular, and related technologies.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders, product owners, and cross-functional teams to define requirements and deliver technology solutions.
- Drive adoption of GenAI, Copilot, and AI-driven development practices for automation, reporting, and developer productivity.
- Mentor and lead a high-performing engineering team while promoting technical excellence and continuous learning.
- Manage stakeholder relationships, communicate project status, and address risks and challenges.
- Promote automated testing and CI/CD pipelines for reliable software delivery.
- Evaluate tools, deliver proofs of concept, lead greenfield projects, and champion relevant emerging technologies.
Requirements
- At least 10 years of software engineering experience.
- Strong full stack development background with Java, Python, Scala, Angular, and related technologies.
- Deep understanding of databases, including Snowflake, as well as data structures, algorithms, design patterns, and modern SDLC practices.
- Experience building and scaling enterprise-level applications, preferably in cloud environments.
- Ability to learn additional languages, frameworks, and technology stacks quickly.
- Experience using GenAI, Copilot, or AI/ML tools for software development, automation, or reporting.
- Experience leading and motivating high-performing teams and managing global stakeholder relationships.
- Strong problem-solving, analytical, communication, and business skills.
- Finance, investment banking, or related industry exposure is advantageous.
- Familiarity with Power BI, Apache Airflow, OLAP tools, and workflow automation is preferred.
