Base Salary

$150k - $210k/yr

Responsibilities

  • Lead the design, development, and delivery of scalable enterprise financial modeling, reporting, and analytics solutions.
  • Architect and implement software systems using Java, Scala, Python, Angular, and related technologies.
  • Collaborate with business stakeholders, product owners, and cross-functional teams to define requirements and deliver technology solutions.
  • Drive adoption of GenAI, Copilot, and AI-driven development practices for automation, reporting, and developer productivity.
  • Mentor and lead a high-performing engineering team while promoting technical excellence and continuous learning.
  • Manage stakeholder relationships, communicate project status, and address risks and challenges.
  • Promote automated testing and CI/CD pipelines for reliable software delivery.
  • Evaluate tools, deliver proofs of concept, lead greenfield projects, and champion relevant emerging technologies.

Requirements

  • At least 10 years of software engineering experience.
  • Strong full stack development background with Java, Python, Scala, Angular, and related technologies.
  • Deep understanding of databases, including Snowflake, as well as data structures, algorithms, design patterns, and modern SDLC practices.
  • Experience building and scaling enterprise-level applications, preferably in cloud environments.
  • Ability to learn additional languages, frameworks, and technology stacks quickly.
  • Experience using GenAI, Copilot, or AI/ML tools for software development, automation, or reporting.
  • Experience leading and motivating high-performing teams and managing global stakeholder relationships.
  • Strong problem-solving, analytical, communication, and business skills.
  • Finance, investment banking, or related industry exposure is advantageous.
  • Familiarity with Power BI, Apache Airflow, OLAP tools, and workflow automation is preferred.
