Base Salary
$176k - $220k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design, build, and release features in the Lyft Rider application.
- Define long-term roadmap and architecture based on technology needs.
- Oversee major changes to the Android architecture.
- Collaborate with Product Managers, Designers, and Engineers for user experience.
- Evaluate and implement new technologies to maximize developer efficiency.
- Mentor and support other developers with code reviews and design feedback.
- Solve complex real-time data transfer and synchronization issues.
- Implement pixel-perfect designs with advanced interactions.
Requirements
- 6+ years of experience as an Android developer.
- Experience leading a technical team is a bonus.
- Advanced knowledge of Java and Kotlin.
- Familiarity with RxJava.
- Strong understanding of architecture and design patterns.
- Experience shipping large scale Android applications.
- Great product sense with a focus on usability and design.
- Collaborative experience with product managers and designers.
