Responsibilities
- Develop core rendering features, engine components, tools, and reusable rendering technologies.
- Research and implement real-time rendering techniques and graphics research papers.
- Design, maintain, implement, test, and debug rendering code, pipelines, and related components.
- Write technical design specifications and optimize rendering modules through profiling and performance analysis.
- Investigate and optimize low-level game-engine code across multiple platforms.
- Collaborate with designers, artists, and engineers to improve visual quality and create immersive game worlds.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience with C++ development.
- Experience working on or creating real-time rendering engines.
- Experience with modern graphics APIs such as DirectX 12, Vulkan, or Metal.
- Experience developing rendering techniques and implementing research papers.
- Experience with PC, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, PlayStation 5, or Xbox Series S/X.
- Experience with graphics performance analysis, optimization, and tools such as PIX, RenderDoc, or Razor.
- Strong debugging, multithreading, memory-management, multiprocessor, and runtime-optimization skills.
- Strong mathematics skills including trigonometry, calculus, and linear algebra.
- Experience with art and content pipelines and workflows, plus the ability to collaborate in an open feedback environment.

- British Columbia base salary range of CAD 122,300–170,700, depending on location and other factors.
