Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain application modules using C, C++, C#, Delphi, DevExpress, application services, and Oracle PL/SQL.
- Debug complex issues across a multi-technology environment with numerous integrations.
- Generate, validate, and evolve unit, integration, and end-to-end tests with AI assistance.
- Maintain clinical data integrations, including pipelines and HL7 v2 exchanges.
- Develop AI-enhanced features and contribute to model or integration design as needed.
- Use AI tools to analyze, document, modernize, and understand legacy codebases.
- Implement AI-assisted quality controls for compliance, accessibility, performance, and security.
- Own deliverables from requirements analysis through testing, documentation, and production deployment.
- Participate in code reviews and critically evaluate AI-generated code and test outputs.
- Comply with Law 25 and Quebec health-sector regulatory requirements under team guidance.
- Share learnings about AI tools, models, and development practices with the team.
Requirements
- Minimum 6 to 8 years of development experience with C, C++, C#, Delphi, DevExpress, application services, and Oracle PL/SQL.
- Regular experience using AI development tools and the ability to demonstrate productivity gains from them.
- Strong object-oriented programming and algorithmic-thinking foundations.
- Ability to learn independently, adapt quickly to evolving technologies, and work with complex systems and architectures.
- Ability to critically evaluate AI-generated code, tests, and other outputs.
- Excellent written and verbal communication in both French and English.
- Strong collaboration, customer focus, and solution-oriented thinking.
- Interest in working in the regulated digital-health industry.
- Preferred experience with React, Angular, .NET, build and deployment pipelines, enterprise B2B solutions, solution architecture, and modeling.
- Preferred experience developing AI-powered product features or integrating AI models into existing systems.
- Personal AI projects, open-source contributions, an active GitHub presence, and knowledge of HL7 v2 or related data-integration standards are valued.
