Base Salary
$136k - $204k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, document, test, debug, integrate, and sustain software systems implementing logical and mathematical solutions for Global C2 missions.
- Develop and maintain software products across multiple baselines for the IBCS program while working on SAFe Scrum teams.
- Perform software upgrades in multiple programming languages and versions while minimizing changes to operational tactical software.
- Develop and maintain user interfaces using JavaFX and related technologies.
- Create and update documentation using Markdown and collaboration tools.
- Support unit and functional testing, code coverage analysis, static code analysis, and test automation.
- Collaborate with systems and hardware engineers to solve complex technical problems in a highly integrated environment.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in a STEM field and 8 years of relevant experience, a master’s degree and 6 years, or a PhD and 4 years.
- Strong object-oriented software development experience with Java, C++, and JavaFX user-interface development.
- Experience with Bash, including SSH and SCP, Perl, and Python.
- Proficiency in Linux-based development and runtime environments.
- Experience with Git and GitLab for configuration management and source control.
- Ability to obtain and maintain a Department of Defense Active Secret Clearance.
- Preferred qualifications include MBSE experience with Cameo or similar tools, Jenkins or similar CI/CD pipelines, RTI/DDS, OSGi, XML, Eclipse or VS Code, tactical data links, and radar track management.
- CompTIA Security+ certification is preferred.
- U.S. citizenship is required for positions involving government clearance or other restricted work.
