Base Salary

$168k - $227k/yr

Responsibilities

  • Develop software for machine-learning hardware across all stages of the hardware lifecycle.
  • Collaborate with silicon design and hardware design teams across EC2.
  • Create maintainable, documented, tested, reusable, and improvable software.
  • Monitor, debug, and improve a fleet of more than 2 million machine-learning accelerators.
  • Support accelerator and server debugging, testing, qualification, manufacturing, and software automation.
  • Lead or contribute to software design, architecture, reliability, and scaling efforts.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of non-internship professional software development experience.
  • 5+ years of programming experience with at least one software programming language.
  • 5+ years of leading the design or architecture of new and existing systems.
  • 5+ years of full software development lifecycle experience, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations.
  • Experience mentoring, serving as a technical lead, or leading an engineering team.
  • Preferred: bachelor’s degree in computer science or equivalent.
  • Preferred: knowledge of computer architecture, operating systems, and parallel computing.
  • Preferred: experience as a technical lead, systems engineer, or technical program manager on complex systems.
  • Preferred: experience working with PCIe devices.
